Moldova Fruct Association will be present again at FruitLogistica

Despite the fact that Moldova has a historical reputation in the region as “the garden” that supplies unparalleled tasting fruits and vegetables, West European consumers are less familiar with the Moldovan products. This gap has to be eliminated, because Moldova has what to offer. From the other side, long-term stability implies market diversification.

Ten companies, members of the association, most of which are either already GlobalGAP certified or are implementing the requirements for the respective certification will present their offers at the exhibition.

“European customers really enjoy our fruits for their unique flavour and sweetness, particularly our varieties of table grapes and plums. Each year, visitors from around the world are pleasantly surprised to see our top-notch production and post-harvest facilities and are discovering that taste makes the difference in our products. Providing high quality fruits and building warm relations with our business partners are core values shared by association members. Therefore, we are happy to meet our existing, as well as new partners at Fruit Logistica 2019 in Hall 10.1, booth B-06,” said Iurie Fala, the executive director of Moldova Fruct Association, which represents more than 170 leading fruit producers and exporters from the country.
