Gala

Gala apples are of medium to large size, with a globular conical shape and a smooth surface. The skin is a very attractive red, while the pulp is creamy white, fine, crisp, juicy, and very weakly acidic. Galas have a sweet taste and a pleasant, specific aroma. Gala apples are suited to handling and transport and can be stored for 90 days. Moldova produces more than 45,000 tons of Gala apples annually.
