Florina

Florina apples are medium to large in size , with conical-globular or conical truncated shape. Florina apples boast a red-orange or raspberry-red skin, with striping on approximately 80 percent of the surface. Moldova’s Florina apples are aromatic and harmoniously sweet and tart. The pulp is yellowish-white, fine, juicy, crisp, and slightly acidic. Florinas are resistant to handling and transportation and can be stored for 170-200 days. Moldova produces about 35,000 tons of Florina apples every year.
