Golden Delicious

A classic variety perfect for long-term storage. Golden Delicious are medium to large, with a conical-oblong and a smooth surface. The greenish-yellow skin hides a crunchy, sweet and zesty flesh that has made Golden Delicious apples a consumer favorite worldwide. Harvested in late September to early October, Golden Delicious apples are resistant to handling and transport and store well for 180-210 days. Moldova produces more than 70,000 tons of Golden Delicious apples every year.
