Fruit Sector Companies Invited to Register for the 2026 Fruit Business Conference
The increasingly visible effects of climate change, shifts in international markets, the geopolitical context, and the Republic of Moldova’s path towards integration into the European Union are reshaping the way businesses operate in the fruit sector. Producers and exporters must adapt to increasingly complex requirements, invest in technology and efficiency, comply with international market standards, and, at the same time, find solutions to climate-related risks, rising production costs, and competition in foreign markets.
That is why the 2026 edition of the Fruit Business Conference will highlight the solutions, technologies, expertise, and opportunities that Moldovan companies need to grow their businesses in a constantly changing environment.
Companies and professionals from the sector wishing to attend this year’s edition can register at fbc.md. On 3–4 December 2026, they are invited to join more than 350 producers, exporters, managers, experts, technology providers, company representatives, and partners from the Republic of Moldova and other European countries at Capitoles Park, 13A Melestiu Street, Chișinău.
This year’s event holds special significance for the Moldova Fruct Association, which is celebrating 20 years of activity. Over these two decades, Moldova’s fruit industry has undergone a major transformation, with producers and companies investing in modern technologies, new varieties, post-harvest infrastructure, certification, and stronger positions in export markets.
“Year after year, the Fruit Business Conference brings together the specialists and companies driving the development of this sector. Looking ahead, it is essential to focus on cooperation between producers and exporters, sales planning, and compliance with international standards. The sector also needs well-targeted investment in orchards and post-harvest infrastructure so that Moldovan fruit reaches international markets in optimal condition and meets buyers’ requirements. The conference is a place where these priorities are not only identified, but also supported by practical examples, experience, and solutions,” said Iurie Fală, Executive Director of the Moldova Fruct Association.
