One of Moldova’s biggest achievements is ability to redirect exports from the Eurasian Economic Union to the European Union, especially for high-demand products like plums, apricots, cherries, and grapes. The results speak for themselves:

• In 2023, Moldova became the #1 exporter of plums to the European Union;
• The export of cherries to the EU has increased 12 times compared to previous years.

And the success story doesn’t end there! Moldova’s fruit producers pay attention at standards for quality, volume, taste and these efforts positioning the country as an important actor at the global fruit trade.
